Sedikit info utk dikongsi kpd yg berminat. I just got back from a short trip to Thaley Noi (Patthalung region) & Songkhla. Road condition on Highway 4 (fr Dannok - Khuan Khanun) is good. No more holes @ bumpy as last June 2012. Fr Khuan Khanun to Thaley Noi, jalan kampung, but also ok (lupa dah nombor route). Based on map Insight Fleximap (yg dibeli di kedai buku Kinokuniya), there is no road or connection from Thaley Noi to route 408 (beach road on the east side fr Hua Sai to Songkhla). However, when I was there, actually dah ada bridge which cross the lake fr Thaley Noi to Ranod (very scenic), and after that boleh terus sama ada ke Hua Sai and further up, OR to Songkhla and further down. Road is good, mostly double lane.
